Specialty Sales, LLC has developed new technologies that use naturally occurring organic materials combined with surfactants and other biologically stimulating ingredients which together formulate a very effective cleaning/odor control product.  BACTO-ZYME is an organic, multi-enzyme based product, non-toxic and ecologically compatible. 

BACTO-ZYME’s formulation promotes penetration and emulsification of oily or fatty substances to increase micro-organism activity. This accelerates destruction of odor causing conditions and gives BACTO-ZYME excellent cleaning agent properties. 

Its proprietary formulation has been designed to be non-hazardous and non­flammable. It has a slightly acidic (pH 3.5-4) organic composition. BACTO­ZYME works in a wide range of pH and temperatures — however, best at 950° F and between 3 to 9.5 pH. 

BACTO-ZYME is user friendly and eliminated the need for protective clothing, gloves and boots. It eliminates the costly control, collection and disposal of harmful effluents contained in other cleaning products. BACTO-ZYME can be discharged into public-owned wastewater treatment systems or soil discharged to the environment without deleterious effect.

 BACTO-ZYME Characteristics  

Non-toxic - Non-imitating to most skin tissue, causes no rash or burn. If ingested accidentally in small amounts it may produce a laxative effect. If exposed to the eyes, flush immediately with water. Consult a physician. 

Hypo-allergenic - Contains no known allergens contributory to skin, respiratory or other allergies. It is not offensive in odor. It is non-gaseous and can be used in poorly ventilated areas. 

Non-flammable - Contains no combustible materials, is non-explosive and can be used near open flame. 

Non abrasive - Contains no abrasive ingredients and can be used on most delicate surfaces and finishes that allow the use of water. 

100% Rinsibility - Washes off completely with water, leaving no bead stains or streaks. After rinsing, BACTO-ZYME leaves a non-static finish, thus inhibiting dust accumulation. 

Easy application - Can be spray applied or poured onto surfaces to be treated. BACTO-ZYME does not require special equipment. The method used for application depends on the intended treatment or use. 

Storage & shelf life - BACTO-ZYME should be stored below 1200 F. Freezing temperatures are not harmful. BACTO-ZYME has an extended shelf life depending upon storage temperatures. It should be stirred well and mixed after any extended storage time.

BACTO-ZYME is water based and provided in a concentrated form to be diluted with water according to use and performance intent.

• Odor control for Industry and Agriculture -  Control organic chemical odors, non-masking odor of organic wastes and composting odor & eliminate airborne odors

• Industrial cleaning - Metal cleaning & degreasing  and General cleaning (non-solvent based cleaner)  

SUPER CLEANER BACTO-ZYME (BACTO-ZYME 2X diluted with 4 parts water)

Characteristics  

Non-toxic - Super Cleaner is harmless to humans, animals, marine life or ecology. If consumed, it would produce a laxative effect similar to that of mild soaps. 

Non-flammable - Super Cleaner contains no combustible materials and may be used safely near open flames and in poorly ventilated areas. 

Hypoallergenic - Super Cleaner contains no known allergen to irritate the skin or respiratory system. The strong oil-digesting characteristics may have a de-fatting effect on the skin with prolonged exposure, but would be temporary and skin oil would soon be replaced naturally. 

Ecologically Safe - Super Cleaner will effectively clean and deodorize all surfaces to which it is applied. 

Rinseability - Super Cleaner washes off completely in water and does not leave streaks or bead stains. After rinsing, the product leaves a non-static finish, inhibiting the accumulation of dust or grime. 

USDA Rated - BACTO-ZYME is accepted by the US Department of Agriculture for use as a general cleaner on all surfaces and for use with steam or mechanical cleaning devices in all departments and establishments operating under Federal Meat and Poultry inspection programs.   

WASTE & SEPTIC BACTO-ZYME (BACTO-ZYME 2X diluted 31% BACTO-ZYME 69% water)(17 gal BACTO-ZYME 38 gals water)  

Dissolves Grease - BACTO-ZYME is a blend of pre-formed multiple enzymes that digest grease and other organic matter that clogs pipes. Regular use of BACTO-ZYME will keep .grease traps, drains, garbage disposals, wet wells and septic systems free flowing and odorless.

Available in 1, 5 and 55-gallon containers. Freezing will not impair BACTO­ZYME, but may cause container to rupture.

Waste & Septic is compatible with all municipal waste treatment systems. Its microorganism enhancement activity contributes to the reduction of suspended solids and biological oxygen demand.  

Waste & Septic Characteristics

Completely Safe - BACTO-ZYME is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, non-corrosive, and non-flammable, and can be used in poorly ventilated areas. It will not harm humans, animals, marine life, environment or any other material not effected by water.  

Saves Time and Money - BACTO-ZYME causes a rapid breakdown of substrate into soluble compounds that flow freely, eliminating messy and expensive pump-outs.  

Accepted by the USDA - BACTO-ZYME is accepted for use in sewage and/or drain lines of establishments operating under Federal Inspection Programs. BACTO-ZYME should never be used in any solution containing strong acids or caustics, or in solutions with temperatures above 1250 F.  

Applications

Grease Traps – Add one gallon of BACTO-ZYME to any trap up to 150 gallon capacity. If over 150 gallons, add one ounce per additional gallon. Follow with one gallon of lukewarm water. If added to open trap, spray exposed surfaces with a solution of one part BACTO-ZYME to 20 parts water, to deodorize.  Each week add one quart of BACTO-ZYME per 150 gallons or less capacity. Add one ounce for every 5 gallons over 150 gallons to keep a free and odorless system.  

Septic Systems - Add 16 ounces of BACTO-ZYME for each 100 gallons of septic capacity. BACTO-ZYME may be flushed or poured in drains leading to the tank. Add one ounce of BACTO-ZYME for each 100 gallons weekly.  Deodorize and restore adsorption fields with two gallons of BACTO-ZYME added to enough water to cover 400 square feet of field area, followed with a thorough wetting of water. Repeat after four days if needed. 

Drains - BACTO-ZYME may be added directly from container or into drain lines by automatic dispenser. Add BACTO-ZYME at lowest use period. Always treat lowest levels of drains in system first.  

Lift Stations and Wet Well - To prevent formation of a grease cap, add one ounce of BACTO-ZYME for each gallon capacity. Each week add % ounce of BACTO-ZYME per gallon capacity.
